A townhouse by the park

Wine school is fun school. Ours runs in the townhouse at 113 Avenue du Dix Septembre — part of Hôtel Parc Belair, right next door to the hotel’s restaurant. The classroom looks over Merl Park, the garden out the back opens straight into it, and the ducks (and a few resident turtles) are a two-minute stroll away.

Right on Merl Park — ducks, a few resident turtles, a brand-new playground and plenty of shade for the break.

The garden out the back is the park — summer flights and breaks with Merl Park as the backdrop.

Fed by the hotel kitchen — on Level 1 course days, proper canapés from Hôtel Parc Belair. Not your average biscuit tin.

Easy to reach — buses at the door, free parking behind the park, and the city centre a few minutes away.

Philosophy of Wine is wine education done properly, in the heart of Luxembourg City. Classes are led by Jessica van der Schee — a Master of Wine student and WSET Diploma award winner, trained at WSET School London — in small groups, with a curated flight of benchmark wines chosen to make every lesson land on your palate, not just on the page. Our whole approach is simple: make serious wine knowledge feel anything but serious.
